The Stanwood Area Historical Society Presents
An Afternoon Tea & Exhibit :
WAISTLINES AND HEMLINES
Women's Fashions from the 1890s - 1960s
Saturday Afternoon, May 19th, 2012
at the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center
27130 102nd Ave NW
Stanwood, WA

There will be two sittings for the tea:  1:30 and 3:00

See our new Waistlines and Hemlines exhibit before or after one of our
two sittings for tea.
Each seating features delicious desserts and savories served with
steaming pots of tea. Feel free to dress it up a bit in the spirit of
the occasion.  Hats and early 20th century fancy fashions are
encouraged!

SAHS welcomes Mary Margaret Haugen as speaker in a short program at
the tea.  The exhibit features her extensive collection of women's
vintage clothing.
Music: Walt & Kenny Duo on Fiddle and Guitar
The exhibit will be open from 1-4 pm the day of the event.
Future open days will be announced; tours will be available by appointment.
