We are pleased to announce a New Everett History by Gene Fosheim which is
now available through Amazon <http://amzn.com/1522782400>.

"Mill Town Boy" is an American story of immigration, the Great Depression,
war, and peace. Raymond Fosheim grew up in a Norwegian-American family in
one of the most beautiful places on earth, Everett, Washington. Everett was
the lumber capital of the northwest United States and was proudly referred
to as ‘Mill Town’ or ‘The City of Smokestacks.’ Mill Town Boy is not just a
biography of a man but also of a city and a region.

The author, Gene Fosheim, is Raymond’s son, also a lifelong Everett
resident. In his foreword prominent local historian Jack O’Donnell states,
“Blessed by his father’s diary that Fosheim rescued from the trash, a trove
of family photographs, oral interviews of his father, his interest in
hearing the family stories as a small child and a love of travel, he has
created a unique and thorough family memento. Read this heartwarming family
history and learn a lot about Everett history as well.”
