History Program At The Burlington Public Library

Saturday, August 5 2-3 p.m.  
Utopia in the Skagit: an Archaeological Look at the 1897 to 1907 Equality Colony In 1897 dreamers, idealists, and the politically motivated converged on Washington State, in what is now Bow, looking to change the nation for the better. 

Join Julia Rowland, M.A., a local archaeologist as she combines historical record analysis with archaeological survey to tell the tale of this fascinating piece of early Skagit Valley history.
